LICENCE FREE STOCK PHOTOS
 

All pictures published on phototour.ch can be purchased as licence free stock photos. The photographies taken before 2004 have been scanned from slides using a Nikon Super Coolscan 5000ED slide scanner (resolution 4070 x 2680 Pixel). From 2004, the pictures have been taken with a Nikon D70, resolution 3008 x 2000 Pixel.

Depending on the intended use, two different resolutions are available, for technical details and prices see below. Please notice the licence regulations.

ORDERING INFORMATION
 
To order licence free stock photos from phototour.ch please proceed as follows:
 
PROCEDURE Please copy the URL's of the pictures to be ordered into an e-mail message and send the mail, giving your complete address, to the e-mail address published under IMPRESSUM. After this, you will receive an e-mail with the usage fees to be paid.
 
DELIVERY After paying the usage fee, you will receive a link to download the pictures from the FTP-server of phototour.ch. On request the pictures can also be sent via e-mail (for file sizes up to 5MB) or CD/DVD. In the latter case an additional fee for shipping and handling has to be paid.
 
PAYMENT Via bank transfer (if paying in foreign currency: handling fees to be covered by customer!)

LICENCE REGULATIONS
 
COPYRIGHT In any case, copyright of the photographies remains with phototour.ch. With the purchase, the buyer receives solely the right of usage as specified below.
 
TERMS OF USAGE Web/Presentation

Usage of photographies embedded in presentations or in web-sites, including distribution within a presentation in digital or printed form. Usage in any print media (books, brochures, posters etc.) is strictly prohibited. Within the same company, multiple usage of a picture is allowed, however, the usage for various projects in the sense of individual customer projects is not authorized. In this case, the picture has to be purchased individually for each project.

Resale and dissemination of a picture is not allowed.

The buyer does not purchase the picture for exclusive usage.

Print

Usage is allowed for all print media. Within the same company, multiple usage of a picture is allowed, however, the usage for various projects in the sense of individual customer projects is not authorized. In this case, the picture has to be purchased individually for each project.

Resale and dissemination of a picture is not allowed, except if the picture is sold as part of a print media.

The buyer does not purchase the picture for exclusive usage.
 
RESTRICTIONS Pictures purchased on phototour.ch may not be used

• for the purpose of illegal and criminal actions
• in pornographic context
• in humiliating and degrading manner for the person(s) show
• in humiliating and reputation-damaging manner for the photographer

The pictures may be altered by the buyer for his own purpose. However, manipulations changing the initial meaning of the picture in a way that it might inflict a damage of the photographers reputation as well as alterations that are limited or prohibited by other rights (i.e. brandmark, personal rights etc.) are not allowed. In the latter case, explicit approval of the owner of the right has to be obtained first.
 
MISUSE On demand of phototour.ch, the buyer has to prove legal usage of the pictures purchased (i.e. screenshots, specimen copies etc.). All unauthorised usage or dissemination of pictures purchased at phototour.ch results in a penalty of SFr. 1000.-. The right for further claims for damages and legal actions is reserved.
 
REFERENCE When using the pictures, a reference to the photographer is appreciated but not mandatory.
